The Upper Diamond area in Laguna Beach, California is perched at one of the highest points in the entire city and offers spectacular panoramic ocean views. This is also one of the best areas to find large and newer constructed estate homes built in the Mediterranean, Contemporary and Traditional architectural styles. For those who have driven on Diamond street have experienced a discontinuance of the road that connects the lower & upper Diamond streets. This has been this way for many years and the city has no plans to connect the street in this small parcel of land. In the past year there have been a wide variety of sale prices that range from $2,730,000 for a 3,200 square foot ocean view home built in 2001 to a $4,445,000 for a 3,800 square foot home built in 2009. Currently, there are 5 ocean view homes listed for sale in this neighborhood from $1,850,000 to $3,599,000 and three lots for sale from $699,000 to $1,200,000. Similar neighborhoods to the Upper Diamond area will include Temple Hills and the Mystic Hills neighborhood.
