When it comes to having any ocean view there are many different neighborhoods to choose from as the topography of Laguna Beach located on a hillside naturally affords a lot of view properties. Of course, if you want to be at one of the highest points in Laguna Beach there is probably no better spot than the "Top of the World" community. Nestled up in this area high on a hill are single family homes that range from the 1920's to brand new construction properties. Laguna Beach is filled with a ton of vacation rental homes but this is really not the case in this neighborhood as it's easy to find a traditional lease of 12 months to start. Most landlords in this area will be asking for the first months rent, security deposit and a credit check fee. With today's technology that large majority of these rental homes do have an online application form that is filled out and connected with the credit check.
Real Estate prices will vary a lot depending on the size of the home, condition and type of view from the property. We have gathered the list 25 rental homes that have leased out above to give you a better idea of what homes have been leasing out for. After looking at this chart it seems like a home with an approximate 1,500 to 2,000 square feet will lease out in the mid $6,000 a month range. Properites that command a premium in price tend to be newer construction homes or those with large square footages. It's important to note that travel time to and from the Top of the World neighborhood can be challenging with a lot of winding roads that lead to the top of the hill. If this is a concern then we recommend neighborhoods that are closer to the beach.
