Three Arch Bay Home Goes Up For Auction

Posted by Sam Smith on Friday, April 7th, 2017 at 12:28pm.

A home located in the Three Arch Bay community has just gone up for auction with a starting bid at $3 million dollars.  Situated in the Lower Three Arch Bay neighborhood, the four bedroom, three and a half bath home features 2,993 square feet of living space and located on a 13,045 square foot lot.  At this asking price it's just over $1,000 per square foot for a single family home that was built in 1968.

The two story homes features clean lines with lots of windows to let in the natural light.  It's reminiscent of a mid-century modern home expect for being located on two levels.  Everything has been nicely updated in this home with a grommet kitchen with stainless steel appliances accented with black countertops.  The master bedroom features a huge walk-in closet, large jacuzzi soaking tub and separate shower.  Once outside there is a relaxing private pool and lounge area.

A little history about the home.  The property was last sold on 1/21/2015 for $2,225,000 according to MLS data reports.  It was then listed on 9/18/2016 for $3,925,000 and went off the market on 4/01/2017 at a list price of $3,000,000.  It was recently listed on 4/4/2017 at the current asking price of $3 million dollars.  There are several pros and cons for this home.

The pros is that it is a nicely renovated home that is move-in ready with lots of square footage on a good size lot for Laguna Beach.  It's also a positive for living in the Lower Three Arch Bay neighborhood which means you can walk down to the beach without leaving the community.

The only con's that we can see is that the homes is located close to Pacific Coast Highway.  Those sensitive to noise should check out the property first before deciding to make a purchase.  Auction is schedule to take place on 05/06/2017.  For those interest in learning more about this action should give us a call at 949-355-1622 today.
