North Laguna Homes For Sale

Laguna Beach has a wide variety of housing offered for sale that includes residential income duplex properties.  These are very common in this beach town and often feature wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean.  In the last week there have been 3 new ocean view listings to come on the market that offer the ability to rent out one side of the property while living in the other side.  For many this makes more economical sense and helps pay the high monthly mortgage payment that many Laguna Beach properties will carry.  Here is a quick guide to these listings.

One of the most famous and true landmark estate home has gone on the market for $75 million according to the Wall Street Journal.  The home is located in the upscale North Laguna area and features two points that span 74,052 square feet according to Realist Tax records.  The name "Twin Points" gets it's name from the two separate sections of land that stretch out into the Pacific Ocean.  The estate has been family owned since 1930 when the estate was purchased by the Contino family.  This is a true prize real estate offering and a one of a kind property.

One beautiful place to find beachfront properties in Laguna Beach, California is on the street known as "Circle Way."  The street is located in the Emerald Terrace community in North Laguna Beach and is a circular street with an approximate 20 properties.  Many of these homes will have some views of the ocean with 4 select homes located on the beach front as pictured below.  This is one of my favorite locations where the beach is only well known to locals with great views of the cliffs side and the Twin Points Estate to the south.

The Twin Points Estate is probably one of the most recognizable and most photographed spots in all of Laguna Beach, California.  Situated at the tip of Marine Drive in North Laguna sits a large parcel of land that spans 74,052 square feet according to Realist Tax records.  Commonly referred to as "Twin Points" for the two separate sections of land that stretch out into the Pacific Ocean.  If you were to stand the very tip of either of these points you would view Emerald Bay to the north and Main Beach to the south. 

In today's real estate market it's almost unheard of to have this much oceanfront land associated with one property.  Typical ocean front homes will be located on around a 10,000 square foot lot with lots between 20,000 to 40,000 square feet

The North Laguna Beach area has a section just north of the downtown area that is commonly referred to as the "Tree Streets" Neighborhood.  The community get it's name after the street names that are derived from various tree names.  Popular names like locust, poplar and cypress are just some the street names you will find in this community.  The area is filled with mature landscaping and are located within a three to four block radius to the beach.  Select homes in this area will have nice views of the ocean but for the most part the views will be block by other homes located in front of them.

Irvine Cove in Laguna Beach is the premier gated community and Laguna Beach, California that currently features 3 homes priced over $36,000 with two homes over $49 million dollars. What draws in these huge price points? First, it's all about location.
