The Three Arch Bay community is home to some of the most beautiful estate homes in Laguna Beach that can offer wonderful ocean views.  This is one of the oldest gated neighborhoods in this coastal beach town of Laguna Beach with some historic homes that date back nearly 100 years old.  Since there is a wide variety of homes found here it's not uncommon to find smaller beach cottages that are located within walking distance to the beach.  Some of the smallest cottages found here will feature only 1 bedroom with a select homes offering ocean views.  The assumption would be that since the home is much smaller than other homes in the neighborhood that there should be a deep discount on the purchase price.  Listing prices are often a factor of a variety of

What a year 2021 has been for real estate sales in the Laguna Beach area of Orange County, California.  There were several reasons for the strong year that included record low interest rates, a low inventory of available homes on the market at any given time and the huge buyer demand for homes that started just months after the Covid stay at home order in March 2020.  The Laguna Canyon area is still one of the best and most affordable places to find homes that are located within the city limits of Laguna Beach.  This zip code is very much in high demand due to it's excellent schools and prestige of living in one of the most beautiful beach towns in Southern California.

One of the most unique and historic property landmarks in all of the Laguna Beach is arguably Pyne Castle.  The 17 bedroom estate was originally built in 1931 and is truly one of the most amazing properties located in Southern California.  It would be similar to a Hertz Castle but located much closer to the beach.  It last seen on the market back in 2012 which is pretty amazing to see such an amazing property being listed for sale.  The castle itself is huge with an estimated 18,300 square feet of living space located on multiple levels according to our multiple listing service.  It features a total of 9 attached garages and located on a multi acre lot which is amazing when you think how valuable land is here in California by the beach.

The famous wave house in Laguna Beach has just hit the market as a coming soon listing and is expected to be active on September 03, 2021.  The property is located at 1712 Thurston in the prestigious Temple Hills neighborhood that sits high on a hillside with many homes offering wonderful panoramic views.  1712 Thurston is no exception to this with great ocean, Catalina Island, Coastline and city light views to name a few.  The home has a lot of history and was originally built in 2008.  It features a total of six bedrooms with 6 full baths and boasts over 5,000 square feet of living space and is located on a good size lot that is under a half an acre at 19,125 square feet according to our multiple listing service.

What a difference a year makes when it comes to vacation rentals.  In 2020, we saw a huge demand for those looking for vacation rental properties in Laguna Beach that often found multiple clients bidding against each other and driving up the prices for specific vacation summer months.  At that time it seemed like everyone was tired of staying in their home and with travel limited through the United States many turned to vacation within their own state, often choosing a beach front home where they could stay in a luxury residence during the pandemic.  Fast forward to 2021 where a lot of Americans have been vaccinated and feel more comfortable traveling the demand to find local vacation rental properties has dropped.  It's really a night and day difference
