Laguna Beach estate homes are can be found in many different areas of Laguna Beach but if you are in the market for a luxury estate home in a gated community we recommend the following neighborhoods: Three Arch Bay, Emerald Bay & Irvine Cove.
First, Three Arch Bay is a great place to start. The community is located in the South Laguna area and features homes located on both the east & west side the freeway. Commonly referred to as "lower" and "upper" Three Arch Bay with various price ranges depending on the size and view, proximity to the beach and the views. The inventory of homes is really low in the Lower Three Arch Bay, especially for four bedroom plus ocean view properties. The great thing about Three Arch Bay is the easy walk down to the beach and everyone knows each other since it's a rather smaller & tight knit community.
Another wonderful gated community to consider is the Emerald Bay gated neighborhood. If you have kids you will love living here. During the summer months there are plenty of activities for the kids and going to the beach is easy to do on your own private golf cart. Kids are free to play out front of their homes as the community & beach are completely private. We highly recommend this community for families.
Finally, you have the Irvine Cove community. Irvine Cove is an upscale area with a little more privacy and a private beach similar to Emerald Bay. Several high end homes priced at over $10 million dollars have come on the market in the last month so If you are looking for a trophy estate home then Irvine Cove is the place to look. A special point called Abalone Point is a great place to find these high end homes in Irvine Cove.
