A really unique place to find rentals in the Laguna Beach area is a small complex called Aliso Laguna. If you are familiar with Laguna Beach then imagine walking up the hill from the Montage Resort a few streets up and you will find a set of residential condos that will come on the market occasionally for sale and for lease. The rental market in Laguna Beach has seen a sharp increase in demand in the last several of years which as a result and driven prices higher. This is also true for the Aliso Laguna complex with one current rental listing that is on the market for $4,995 a month. The landlord is looking for a 6 month lease which is ready for move-in now. The condo features a total of two bedrooms with 1,106 square feet with peek ocean views.
The large majority of condo rentals that have come on the market before in this complex were also a one year lease so this is typically not the place to look for short term vacation rentals. The last time we saw a rental come on the market here was back in 2019 when a two bedroom condo with 1,106 square feet leased for $2,995 a month. So when looking at the rental history two bedroom condos have increased in asking prices by $2,000 in a matter of three years. Laguna Beach also has some more affordable options than this property is you open to a 12 month lease. The unique part about this rental is that the 6 month lease will take you through most of the summer months would could ideally work perfect for someone that just wants to get a feel for living in Laguna Beach before making a purchase or signing a long term lease.
