Real Estate in Laguna Beach can be very expensive but there are still some neighborhoods where you can still find condos for sale under the $600,000 price point. A large majority of these properties can be found in the Laguna Village and South Laguna area where condos tend to be at a lower price point than other area of Laguna Beach.  A new listing has come on the market this week that provide one and two bedroom condos for sale under $600,000.  The unit is located in the popular Moss Point area which is great area near the beach where some of the oldest homes in Laguna Beach can be found.  240 Moss Street #11 is a small one bedroom condo that features 746 square feet of living space and offers views of the Pacific Ocean.  The location is really superb

South Laguna has a nice selection of older historic properties that were built in the 1920's and 1930's.  Some of the oldest homes and neighborhoods exist in this area like the Three Arch Bay gated community that dates back to the early 1920's.  Other notable spots in South Laguna like Point Place offer coastline views that look directly below at Thousand Steps Beach.  As you can expect these historic properties were built in the most prime spots with many of these historic gems built on the ocean front and have commanding views of the Pacific Ocean like the famous Lighthouse house as pictured below.

The Upper Bluebird Canyon area of Laguna Beach is located high on a hill that often offers wonderful ocean and sunset views from many of the homes located here.  Located on the south side of the Canyon from the Temple Hills area is what is commonly referred to as the Upper Bluebird Canyon area.  It gets it's name from the street Bluebird Canyon which starts just a couple blocks up the hill from Pacific Coast Highway and runs to almost the top of the hill.  The area tends to be more rural than other parts of Laguna Beach with historic properties that were built close to the turn of the century.  Homes do come on the market here and are normally priced in the mid $1.5 million range for a 2,000 square foot house with mountain and canyon views.  Ocean view
