When looking at land in Laguna Beach it's important to understand the principle of "land locked."  Land locked is a term that describes a piece a land where a home cannot be built upon.  This can be for a variety of reasons including no current roads that lead to the lot, an area with no utilities and an area where the city has designated that no homes can be built.  When looking at land in Laguna Beach it's very important to check with the city to see what the building restrictions will be for building on a lot.  Laguna Beach has many restrictions when building so it's important to find out even if the lot is not land locked.
